About
Angelia is a Hungarian data engineering and business intelligence consultancy helping food and beverage manufacturers build reliable data foundations, automated Power BI reporting and practical decision support systems.
Our name comes from the Greek word "angelia", meaning "message". To us, it represents turning raw data into information that supports confident business decisions.
We intentionally remain a small consultancy. We work on only a handful of projects at any given time, so every client works directly with the person designing and delivering the solution. We do not hand projects off to junior teams, and we do not outsource responsibility.
We focus on a single industry: food and beverage manufacturers with roughly 50 to 250 employees. You can develop deep expertise in one industry's processes, metrics and systems—not in ten different ones. That focus allows us to deliver value faster.
We build systems that continue to work without us. Every project includes documentation, knowledge transfer and source code ownership. A good system is not the most complicated one—it is the one that remains understandable, maintainable and reliable years later.

We choose technologies for their stability, long-term support and maintainability—not because they are new. Most of our work is built on the Microsoft ecosystem, including Power BI, SQL Server, Azure and Excel.
Documented and transferable systems
Every solution is fully documented and designed to be maintained by others. We do not build systems that only their original developer can understand.
